Double whammy: Metallica headline Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and head to Bahrain for the first time!
In 2013, Metallica performed in Abu Dhabi for the last time, leaving an indelible mark on the fans. Their first appearance on the Yas stage in 2011 was the beginning of building a loyal audience in the region. Now, more than a decade later, the band returns with a grand gift for all the fans who have been waiting for this moment for so long.
The concert will be part of one of the most impressive stages of the "royal race", where the energy of triumph on the track combines with the power of metal, creating a unique combination of sporting adrenaline and musical delight. This is not just a performance, but the culmination of the race weekend.
Metallica will bring their grand M72 tour, which has already won acclaim in stadiums around the world. Spectators can expect breathtaking pyrotechnic effects, laser shows and huge LED screens specially created for large-scale performances. The program will feature favorite hits: from classic compositions of the 80s ("Master of Puppets", "Enter Sandman", "One", "Seek & Destroy") to masterpieces of the 90s ("Nothing Else Matters", "Sad But True"), as well as new tracks from the album "72 Seasons" (2023), which was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Metal Album in 2024. The unrivaled stage energy of James Hetfield, virtuoso guitar solos of Kirk Hammett, powerful bass of Robert Trujillo and frantic energy of Lars Ulrich will be the culmination of the program! The weekend will be filled with music.
